Little Miss Pigtails
This picture was taken during one of our summer walks just before sunset. I really love the angle of the sunlight at this time in the evening, and the way it makes everything it touches glow with warmth. It is rare to get Moanna to look directly at the camera without making a funny face, but this time she was dead on with her eye-locking stare.
On this particular walk, we took Moanna around the neighborhood in her wagon. She really enjoyed being pulled around until we accidentally tipped her over trying to come off of a curb. After that she wanted to pull the wagon “all by herselfs.” Just minutes before this picture was taken she was crying because she had dropped the handle on her foot. The tears quickly dissipated after she talked Daddy into kissing her toe.
