Monday List
This whole daylight savings thing has thrown me off. Why does losing an hour feel like losing an entire day?
Moanna and I have a lot to get done in the next few days. She is geared up and ready for the challenge. She’s tapping her foot at me as we speak saying, “Let’s do this already.”
1. Shop for paper products
We are dangerously low on paper towels. I can’t function without paper towels.
2. Return library books
I’m surprised they haven’t sent a cop to my house with a warrant because these puppies were due last week.
3. Grocery shop
We are out of cheese. We are never out of cheese. That’s how bad it is.
4. Craft shop
Moanna has reminded me that St. Patrick’s Day is this week, and she needs to decorate with crafts. Pray for me. My house is still recovering from the Valentine’s Day craft fiasco.
5. Clean the house
Steve, my husband, my long lost love, is FINALLY coming home in a few days, and I want him to keep me around for a little longer. It’s going to be hard to convince him that I’m worth holding onto if the house looks like Moanna and I spent the past two weeks eating bonbons and watching girlie movies in our jammies.
6. Shower
Steve, my husband, my long lost love, is FINALLY coming home in a few days, and I want him to keep me around for a little longer. It’s going to be hard to convince him that I’m worth holding onto if I look like I spent the past two weeks eating bonbons and watching girlie movies in my jammies.
7. Bake something.
Steve, my husband, my long lost love, is FINALLY coming home in a few days, and I want him to keep me around for a little longer. If the house and myself still show signs of bonbons and girlie movies, at least I can distract him with some delicious gluten free baked goods.

The last three items made me giggle.
He came home early! I got a few rooms cleaned and I showered, but the baked goods didn’t happen.
